Warehouse Operations Development Specialist

About the role

The Warehouse Operations Development Specialist will support the continuous improvement of Alfanar's warehouse functions. The role focuses on analysing processes, monitoring performance, and driving initiatives that boost efficiency, safety, quality and cost‑effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse warehouse processes and performance data to identify gaps, bottlenecks and optimisation opportunities.
• Support the design and implementation of process improvements, technology upgrades and automation solutions.
• Prepare operational analyses, reports and recommendations for continuous‑improvement projects.
• Monitor key performance indicators, track improvement actions and report progress, issues and outcomes.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams and external vendors to align operational requirements and resolve workflow bottlenecks.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, safety standards and relevant regulations through audits and risk assessments.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, equipment availability and resource utilisation, proposing enhancements where needed.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in warehouse operations or a related logistics environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret operational data and trends.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across functions and with external service providers.
• Commitment to maintaining safety, quality and compliance standards.
