Warehouse Shift Supervisor (STR)

About the role

The Warehouse Shift Supervisor (STR) leads all warehouse activities during an assigned shift, ensuring smooth receipt, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of goods. You will coordinate with logistics and project teams to meet operational and customer requirements while upholding safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee shift‑level warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing and dispatch.
• Manage and schedule staff, delegate tasks, monitor performance and resolve conflicts.
• Track productivity KPIs, material flow, and ensure compliance with safety protocols and PPE usage.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct cycle counts and resolve discrepancies.
• Document shift outcomes, communicate handovers and escalate issues as needed.
• Identify and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies.
• Control labor costs by optimizing resource utilization and reducing overtime.

Required profile

• Diploma or higher (technical degree preferred).
• 2‑5+ years of supervisory experience in warehouse or logistics environments.
• Strong communication, conflict‑resolution and team‑motivation abilities.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
