Wellness Instructor

About the role

The Wellness Instructor will lead daily fitness and wellness activities for guests at Raffles & Fairmont the Red Sea, a luxury resort within Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea Project. The role blends personal training, group classes, and recreational programs with the brand’s high standards of service and elegance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personal training sessions, group fitness classes, and recreational activities in line with brand standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness of all fitness facilities and equipment.
• Conduct routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Provide personalized fitness assessments, training programmes, and wellness guidance tailored to individual guest preferences.
• Collaborate with spa therapists, wellness curators, and recreation teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Coordinate bookings and schedules with Front Office, Guest Relations, and Spa Reception.
• Promote and upsell personal training, wellness programmes, and related retail products to drive revenue.
• Record sessions accurately and adhere to booking and billing procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering fitness and wellness programmes in a hospitality or resort setting.
• Strong commitment to guest service excellence and ability to engage with a diverse clientele.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
• Attention to detail, especially regarding safety, hygiene, and equipment maintenance.

Required skills

• Fitness equipment operation and routine maintenance.
• Personal training certification or equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge of group fitness class design and delivery.
