WMS Manager

About the role

The WMS Manager leads the implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of the Warehouse Management System. This role bridges warehouse operations and technology to enhance inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and monitor WMS performance, ensuring data integrity and system availability.
• Lead WMS implementation projects, system upgrades, testing, and module deployments.
• Identify automation opportunities and optimise warehouse workflows using system capabilities.
• Integrate WMS with ERP, transportation, and other operational systems, supporting RF scanners, barcode, API/EDI interfaces.
• Provide daily user support, develop training materials, and deliver training to warehouse teams.
• Create operational dashboards, generate reports, and analyse inventory trends with Power BI.
• Define and enforce standardised warehouse processes, ensuring compliance with FIFO/FEFO and audit requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse operations and WMS environments.
• Proven experience in WMS implementation, configuration, and optimisation.
• Experience in logistics, distribution, warehousing or cold‑chain operations is preferred.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Warehouse Management Systems.
• Knowledge of ERP integrations and system interfaces.
• Familiarity with RF scanners, barcode technology, and API/EDI integrations.
• Proficiency in reporting and data‑analytics tools, preferably Power BI.
