Women's Academy Doctor – Sports Medicine

About the role

The Women's Academy Doctor will lead medical services for Al-Qadsiah Club’s women’s academy, covering four squads. You will build a modern medical department from the ground up, ensuring player health, injury management, and compliance with medical governance while collaborating with multidisciplinary staff.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of medical care for all academy training sessions and matches.
• Develop and implement medical systems, policies, and governance aligned with the club’s high‑performance strategy.
• Oversee injury diagnosis, rehabilitation, and return‑to‑play processes.
• Conduct comprehensive health screenings and ongoing medical monitoring of players.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide education programmes on injury prevention, female athlete health, and wellbeing.
• Coordinate medical provision across training and matchdays, working closely with coaching, performance, and rehabilitation staff.
• Align medical practices with the Women’s First Team department to ensure a consistent philosophy.

Required profile

• Saudi national medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and license from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
• Experience in sports medicine or athlete care, preferably within football or elite sport environments.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities in a multidisciplinary high‑performance setting.
• Knowledge of female athlete health and specific considerations in women’s football.
• Desirable: postgraduate qualification in sports medicine and experience developing medical systems or working with youth academy programmes.
