Wood Factory Engineer

About the role

Shadow Design Company is looking for a skilled Wood Factory Engineer to join its manufacturing team in Al Hufūf. The role focuses on overseeing wood production processes, guaranteeing product quality, improving efficiency, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily production activities to meet targets.
• Manage and evaluate team performance, providing guidance and training.
• Optimize use of machinery, materials, and labor to increase productivity.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and ISO requirements.
• Monitor production metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports.

Required profile

• Strong background in wood production techniques, machinery operation, and factory processes.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Experience in quality control, troubleshooting manufacturing issues, and workflow optimization.
• Ability to enforce safety standards and ensure ISO compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Prior experience in manufacturing or woodworking is strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
