Accountant – Saudi VAT & Import Duty Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an Accountant to join our joint‑venture partner in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on daily accounting operations, Saudi VAT and tax compliance, and supporting import duty and customs processes. The successful candidate will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate records and timely reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations and maintain financial records.
• Prepare and file VAT/tax documentation in accordance with Saudi regulations.
• Coordinate import duty tax and customs clearance activities when required.
• Maintain accurate data in the ERP system.
• Produce financial reports and assist with audits and compliance activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in Saudi Arabia.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Saudi VAT/TAX regulations and compliance.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems.
• Knowledge of import duty tax procedures and customs clearance processes.
