Accounting Manager

About the role

The Accounting Manager will lead the finance and accounting function of Al‑Toga Trading Company, a leading poultry producer in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province. Reporting directly to senior management, the role is responsible for the full accounting cycle, regulatory compliance and delivering accurate financial information to support the company’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the complete accounting cycle, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Manage cash‑flow, budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Ensure compliance with ZATCA regulations, VAT filing and e‑invoicing requirements.
• Operate and maintain the accounting modules within the Odoo ERP system.
• Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.
• Liaise with banks, suppliers and government authorities on financial matters.
• Develop and enforce internal controls, accounting policies and procedures.
• Supervise and mentor the accounting team.
• Support cost analysis and profitability reporting for production and distribution operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Hands‑on experience with Odoo ERP (required).
• Strong knowledge of Saudi accounting standards, ZATCA regulations, VAT and e‑invoicing.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical, organizational and leadership abilities.
