Accounts Receivable Section Head – Multi-Channel Retail

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and hands‑on Accounts Receivable Section Head to lead and manage the Group’s accounts receivable and collections activities across multiple business channels. The role involves handling high transaction volumes, complex reconciliations, customer balances, payment collections, settlement cycles, aging and month‑end closing while maintaining strong financial controls and accurate reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all accounts receivable activities, manage customer balances, invoices, receipts and collections, and ensure timely collection of outstanding amounts.
• Oversee multi‑channel receivables across B2B, B2C, retail stores, online platforms, payment gateways and marketplaces, reconciling sales and settlements.
• Conduct customer account reconciliations, review bank receipts, resolve unallocated or disputed payments, and maintain strong controls over cash application.
• Prepare and analyse ageing reports, monitor overdue balances, set credit limits and support credit control policy implementation.
• Support month‑end and financial closing, produce AR, collection and ageing dashboards, and identify opportunities to improve working capital.
• Drive process improvement and automation of high‑volume reconciliation and settlement activities, collaborating with Finance, IT and ERP teams.
• Lead, coach and develop the AR team, set KPIs for collections, reconciliation and closing, and ensure accountability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable, collections or credit control, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Proven experience managing B2B and B2C receivables in retail, e‑commerce or multi‑channel environments.
• Strong knowledge of month‑end closing, financial controls and cash‑flow management.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
