Asset Management Expert – Overhead High Voltage Lines

About the role

Elia Grid International (EGI) is seeking a motivated Asset Management Expert for overhead high‑voltage transmission lines to join its Asset Management team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will have at least five years of experience in power transmission and will support the development and implementation of strategies that improve asset performance, reliability and lifecycle value.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain asset management strategies for conductors, towers, foundations, insulators and related equipment.
• Analyse inspection, maintenance and operational data to assess asset health and support risk‑based decision making.
• Define and improve condition‑monitoring programmes using LiDAR, thermography, drone surveys and corrosion assessments.
• Provide technical expertise to engineering, maintenance and operations teams and contribute to asset‑management policies, standards and governance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s degree is a plus).
• 5–10 years of professional experience in power transmission, specifically with high‑voltage overhead lines.
• Proven experience in asset management, reliability engineering or integrity management.
• Strong communication skills, fluent English; Arabic knowledge is an asset.
