About the role

The Assistant Manager – Food & Beverage I supports the overall operation of food and beverage services at a Marriott property in Umm Al Qura, Makkah. This role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences while meeting financial and operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in day‑to‑day food and beverage operations, ensuring high standards of service and quality.
• Motivate and coach staff, fostering a collaborative and improvement‑focused environment.
• Address guest and employee concerns promptly, using coaching techniques to resolve issues.
• Maintain compliance with corporate accounting procedures and support the General Manager with annual quality audits.
• Uphold Marriott’s brand service culture and set clear service expectations for both guests and team members.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 3 years of relevant food & beverage or culinary experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Food Service Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, etc., with 1 year of experience.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service and handle guest complaints to resolution.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with a proactive attitude toward employee concerns.
