Assistant Vice President – International Finance (Riyadh)

About the role

PJT Partners is expanding its International Finance team in the Middle East. Reporting to the International Controller in London, the Assistant Vice President will lead day‑to‑day financial operations for the Riyadh office and act as a key liaison with global corporate functions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage close processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliations.
• Oversee regulatory filings and ensure compliance with local authorities such as the CMA and DFSA.
• Coordinate statutory audits and monitor IFRS and local regulatory developments.
• Handle treasury activities: cash‑flow forecasts, intercompany funding, cross‑border transfers and banking relationships.
• Prepare monthly management accounts (P&L and balance sheet) and support reporting to senior management and operating committees.
• Ensure tax compliance across the region, covering VAT (ZATCA/FTA), Zakat, corporate income tax and e‑invoicing requirements.
• Maintain relationships with business partners, external auditors, legal counsel and regulatory bodies.
• Partner with global finance teams on strategic initiatives, entity structuring and ad‑hoc projects as the Middle East business evolves.

Required profile

• Highly motivated self‑starter with strong commercial acumen.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders across cultures and time zones.
• Experience in finance operations within an international or investment‑banking environment.

Required skills

• IFRS knowledge and application.
