Associate Cybersecurity Analyst (SMP)

About the role

We are seeking an Associate Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Security Monitoring Platform (SMP) team at Saudi Aramco. The role focuses on monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with SOC teams to triage incidents, analyze alerts, and apply defensive controls.
• Monitor logs and use alerting tools to identify potential threats.
• Utilize secure email gateways, web filtering, URL filtering, and secure web gateways to block malicious content.
• Support authentication, authorization, and cloud security implementations.
• Assist in threat analysis for phishing, malware, and ransomware attacks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering.
• 0‑3 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical thinking and strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Proactive, self‑driven learner able to stay up‑to‑date with evolving threats.
