About the Role

Join a global leader in biotechnology as an Associate Legal Director, reporting directly to the Legal and Compliance Director for the Middle East. This high-impact position offers a unique blend of strategic leadership and operational excellence, providing critical legal oversight for our Saudi Arabian affiliates and broader Middle East operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal and compliance advisory to senior leadership, commercial, and medical teams.
• Manage legal responsibilities and compliance frameworks for Saudi Arabian subsidiaries and Middle East territories.
• Act as a key legal partner with high exposure at the Saudi affiliate level and potential ICR involvement.
• Ensure all business activities align with local regulations and corporate governance standards.
• Mitigate legal risks across various business functions including commercial contracts and healthcare regulations.

Candidate Profile

• Proven track record in legal counsel and compliance within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry in Saudi Arabia.
• Deep understanding of the Saudi Arabian regulatory landscape, including Vision 2030 strategic frameworks.
• Expertise in corporate law, healthcare law, public procurement, and competition law.
• Strong proficiency in managing data protection and complex commercial contracts.
• Exceptional bilingual communication skills in both Arabic and English.
