Associate/Assistant Professor – Electrical Engineering (Research)

About the role

Effat University’s Electrical and Computer Engineering Department seeks full‑time, research‑oriented faculty members at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The successful candidate will join a vibrant academic community dedicated to delivering world‑class education and pioneering interdisciplinary research in Electrical Engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses and develop graduate curricula.
• Conduct, publish, and secure funding for interdisciplinary research.
• Design and plan new courses and academic programs.
• Assess and continuously improve course quality.
• Provide student support, advisement, and mentorship.
• Contribute to departmental and faculty policy development.
• Represent the university on internal and external committees.
• Manage and mentor junior colleagues and research staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering.
• Excellent command of English.
• Experience in technology‑infused academic environments.
• Research interest and proven experience in Power, Controls/Robotics/Communications.
• Ability to develop and lead funded research programs.
