Business and Finance Instructor

About the role

The Institute for Vocational and Technical Training in Riyadh seeks a Business and Finance Instructor to deliver diploma programmes in Financial Analysis, Supply Chain, Administration and Retail Sales. The position is initially for one year with the possibility of extension.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver up to 20 hours of classroom instruction per week to groups of up to 25 students.
• Maintain a positive learning environment and enforce institute student‑management policies.
• Provide academic advising and extra support to students needing additional training.
• Perform clerical tasks related to textbooks, attendance, and student records.
• Participate in curriculum development and coordinate with other instructors and the Director of Academics.
• Utilise interactive teaching technologies such as whiteboards and projectors.

Required profile

• Highly organized, dependable and able to work in a culturally diverse environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Arabic.
• Strong collaborative abilities, high energy and effective relationship‑building skills.
• Prior teaching experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with interactive whiteboards.
• Experience using projectors for classroom instruction.
• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Familiarity with student information systems.
