Business Data Automation & AI Senior Manager

About the role

The Business Data Automation & AI Senior Manager will lead the automation of business and regulatory reporting for Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) in Riyadh. This role sits at the intersection of data management, AI enablement and banking operations, driving efficiency and data‑driven insights across the division.

Key responsibilities

• Automate manual business and regulatory reports using EDW and BI tools such as Tableau and Denodo, reducing manual effort and turnaround time.
• Own the CIB AI enablement roadmap, identify high‑value use cases, build business cases and oversee delivery in partnership with IT, DMO and governance functions.
• Ensure all AI/ML solutions comply with the bank’s AI governance framework and Central Bank regulations, covering model risk, ethical AI and data privacy.
• Improve data quality and consistency across downstream reporting platforms, uncovering anomalies and driving reliable decision‑making.
• Act as the primary liaison between CIB business units, IT and DMO, translating strategic objectives into technical specifications and project plans.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in financial services, corporate banking or data management, with a proven record of leading large‑scale transformation programs.
• Deep understanding of CIB products and value chains such as trade finance, cash management, lending and treasury.
• Hands‑on experience managing projects through JIRA/Confluence and delivering results in a regulated banking environment.

Required skills

• Python and expert‑level SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Practical experience with machine learning, AI/GenAI tools and responsible AI deployment.
• Proficiency with Denodo, Tableau, Power BI and Alteryx/Tableau Prep for data integration and dashboarding.
• Knowledge of core banking systems (e.g., HUB, AS400) and Enterprise Data Warehouses; familiarity with Collibra is a plus.
