About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Buyer to join our team in Dammam. The role focuses on acquiring medical equipment, devices, and consumables that meet the hospital's clinical and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Process purchase requests for medical items and ensure timely fulfillment.
- Source vendors, obtain competitive quotations, and negotiate terms.
- Maintain compliance with SFDA regulations and hospital standards.
- Collaborate with biomedical and clinical teams to define technical specifications.
- Track purchase orders through delivery, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate records.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, or a related healthcare field.
- Minimum of 2 years of procurement experience in a healthcare setting.
- Relevant certifications such as CIPS, CSCP, or Lean Six Sigma are preferred.
Required skills
- Vendor sourcing and quotation management.
- Purchase order creation and tracking.
- Regulatory compliance knowledge, specifically SFDA standards.
