Car Inspector

About the role

Syarah, a leading online platform for buying and selling cars in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a detail‑oriented Car Inspector. You will evaluate vehicles listed by individual sellers to ensure they meet the company’s quality, safety and transparency standards, supporting informed purchasing decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect mechanical, electrical and body condition of listed vehicles.
• Verify VIN, mileage, registration and other vehicle details.
• Identify, document and photograph any damages, repairs or modifications.
• Conduct road tests to assess performance, handling and safety.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports with clear recommendations.
• Communicate inspection results to sellers and internal teams promptly.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a car inspector, automotive technician or related role.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics and repair standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
• Ability to operate diagnostic tools and inspection equipment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Good communication and customer service abilities.
• Relevant certification in automotive inspection or mechanics.
• Experience with online car‑sales platforms and knowledge of local vehicle regulations.
