Cashier Accountant – Automotive Finance

About the role

The Cashier Accountant will manage cash flow, invoicing and financial controls for a multi‑brand showroom and workshop. Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, the role ensures accurate revenue collection, accounts receivable management and compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and verify cash, credit‑card and cheque payments against invoices and post all collections in SAP.
• Monitor and balance the petty‑cash fund twice daily and ensure all revenue is deposited in the bank.
• Track cheque clearance, bounced cheques and refunds, maintaining logs for customer refunds.
• Maintain daily, weekly and monthly AR reports to ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices.
• Maintain and reconcile credit facilities for branch customers, including limits, periods and documentation.
• Perform timely invoicing of parts and ensure accurate data entry in SAP to minimise billing cancellations.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in a relevant field.
• 2–3 years of experience in an automotive dealership environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to plan, prioritize and work effectively in a team.
