Chemical Sales Manager

About the role

The Chemical Sales Manager will drive growth of water‑treatment chemical solutions across the Saudi Arabian market. Leveraging technical expertise, the role covers the full sales cycle from client identification and water‑chemistry audits to proposal delivery, program launch and ongoing account development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop sales of chemical reagents and solutions for industrial water treatment, targeting new and existing clients.
• Conduct technical meetings, presentations and negotiations with engineers, buyers and decision‑makers.
• Perform on‑site water‑chemistry audits, assess current regimes and design optimal treatment programs.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, calculate dosages, costs and potential savings.
• Monitor reagent performance, generate reports and translate results into business value such as cost reduction and increased equipment uptime.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery terms and contracts while achieving sales and margin targets.

Required profile

• Higher education in engineering or chemistry is a plus.
• Practical experience in industrial water treatment and water‑chemistry technologies.
• Knowledge of cooling systems, boilers, reverse osmosis, corrosion and scale inhibitors, biocides and antiscalants.
• Proven experience in technical or B2B sales, application engineering or business development within the water‑treatment sector.
• Strong ability to explain complex technical issues in clear business terms.
• Fluent English (minimum B1‑B2) and willingness to travel regularly to customer sites.
