About the role
We are partnering with a newly established, research‑based marketing agency in Riyadh to appoint a founding Chief Creative Officer. Backed by a leading Saudi conglomerate, the role offers full autonomy to build the creative function, culture and philosophy from the ground up.
Key responsibilities
- Design and launch the creative department, defining team structure, standards, processes and ways of working.
- Develop and champion a creative philosophy rooted in strategic rigor and platform fluency.
- Partner with the Chief Strategy & Insights Officer to merge insight and ideation into a single discipline.
- Lead integrated creative output across brand campaigns, social, content, CRM, experiential and emerging formats.
- Recruit, mentor and grow a creative team, with a focus on developing local Saudi talent and clear career pathways.
- Act as senior creative advisor in client relationships, pitches and industry thought‑leadership.
Required profile
- Proven builder who thrives on designing a department from scratch.
- Systems thinker capable of creating frameworks and processes.
- Deeply strategy‑fluent and comfortable partnering with strategic counterparts.
- Multi‑platform experience with no bias toward a single channel.
- Culturally curious and humble, approaching the Saudi market as both student and leader.
- Confident at board level, entrepreneurial and comfortable in a founding team environment.
