Civil Engineer – Site Supervision & Project Management

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to lead and supervise civil construction activities from execution through completion. The role ensures that all works are delivered in line with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, schedules and contractual obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise civil construction activities on site, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Review and interpret architectural, structural and civil drawings, identifying discrepancies before execution.
• Monitor project progress against schedules, flagging delays and recommending corrective actions.
• Verify quantities, measurements and material requirements against BOQs and contracts.
• Control quality of works, ensuring adherence to project specifications and standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to assess workmanship, safety and compliance.
• Evaluate contractor performance and ensure contractual obligations are met.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, project managers and suppliers to resolve technical issues.
• Prepare progress reports highlighting completed works, delays and required actions.
• Support project close‑out activities, including snagging, as‑built documentation and handover.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in civil construction, site supervision and project execution.
• Proven ability to review and interpret drawings, verify quantities and monitor progress.
• Strong knowledge of quality control procedures, health and safety standards and contractual requirements.
