Civil Quality Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Civil Quality Engineer to oversee the quality management of civil works on substation projects. The role involves reviewing design documents, coordinating inspections, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review civil scope of work, design, method statements, project quality plans and control procedures.
• Implement the Quality Management System on site and carry out civil work inspections.
• Coordinate with consultants and site in‑charge for inspection approvals and review material submittals.
• Inspect incoming material according to MIRN inspection procedures and monitor subcontractor activities for QMS compliance.
• Attend weekly client meetings, internal and client audits, and address non‑conformances.
• Prepare and update quality reports, non‑conformance reports, design change requests and maintain quality records in the QMTS.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in civil QA/QC, preferably on substation projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, inspection procedures and relevant international standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with automation management tools such as Unifier.
• Experience using Oracle system for quality tracking.
