Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

The Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). You will work closely with development teams to enable fast, reliable software delivery through DevOps practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage OCI services such as compute, networking, storage, IAM, VCN, OKE, Object Storage and Load Balancers.
• Automate provisioning and configuration using Terraform and/or Ansible.
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment.
• Monitor performance, control costs and respond to incidents promptly.
• Enforce security best practices and ensure compliance across cloud environments.
• Collaborate with software teams to align infrastructure with application requirements.
• Maintain clear documentation, runbooks and process guides.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience with OCI.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities; capable of working independently.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana or ELK.

Required skills

• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) – compute, networking, storage, IAM, VCN, OKE, Object Storage, Load Balancers.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible.
• Linux environments, Bash and/or Python scripting.
• DevOps tooling: CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Networking fundamentals: DNS, VPN, load balancing, firewalls.
• Monitoring & observability: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK.
• Version control: Git.
