Commercial Education Manager – MEA

About the role

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking a Commercial Education Manager for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. The role will design and deliver commercial capability programs that enhance sales, marketing, distributor and leadership performance across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a regional commercial education strategy aligned with business priorities and product launches.
• Identify capability gaps and create annual learning plans, competency frameworks and certification programs for commercial roles.
• Design and deliver training on consultative selling, customer engagement, territory planning, negotiation, product knowledge and competitive differentiation.
• Lead onboarding programs for new commercial employees and support succession planning.
• Facilitate workshops, leadership programs and field coaching sessions using classroom, virtual and digital learning methods.
• Partner with Marketing, Medical Affairs and Global Education teams to ensure launch readiness and compliance with regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, Business, Marketing, Organizational Development, Learning & Development) preferred.
• 8‑10 years of experience in sales, marketing, commercial excellence, learning & development or commercial education within healthcare, medical device or pharmaceutical industries.
• Proven success in designing and delivering commercial capability programs for multi‑country organizations.
• Strong understanding of healthcare commercial environments and customer engagement models; field sales or sales leadership experience is a plus.
• Ability to travel regionally and internationally up to 40‑50 % of the time.
