Consultant – Technical Audit (Capital Projects) – Bilingual Arabic

About the role

We are seeking a Consultant to lead technical audits and project assurance for capital‑project and real‑estate developments in Riyadh. The role provides independent assurance on design, quality, cost, schedule and contractual compliance, supporting senior management with clear, actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site technical audits of civil and structural works, verifying compliance with codes, standards, specifications and approved drawings.
• Identify non‑conformances, technical gaps and construction risks, and document findings.
• Assess workmanship quality for concrete, steel, foundations, earthworks and finishing works.
• Review construction methodologies, sequencing and adherence to approved procedures.
• Check material quality, testing records and inspection reports.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with observations, risk ratings and recommendations.
• Track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to ensure timely closure.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, consultants and QA/QC departments.
• Support internal, external and regulatory audits and provide technical input for dispute resolution and claims.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Construction) or Architecture.
• Minimum 3 years of consulting experience in capital‑project advisory, preferably with a Big 4 firm.
• Strong understanding of project controls and technical audits within the capital‑projects domain.
• Bilingual Arabic proficiency is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills.
