Critical Care Registered Nurse

About the role

The Critical Care Registered Nurse will deliver high‑standard clinical nursing to patients in the intensive care unit at Jeddah Healthcare JHSC. The role includes assessing patient needs, planning and implementing individualized care, and supporting patients and their families with compassion and professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for critically ill patients.
• Coordinate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust patient care plans.
• Administer medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV) and record accurately, reporting any adverse reactions.
• Perform clinical procedures such as IV insertion, catheterisation, cannulation, wound dressing changes and equipment monitoring.
• Educate patients and families on medical conditions, post‑treatment care and self‑management.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, vital signs and interventions.
• Respond to life‑saving situations according to nursing protocols and MOH guidelines.
• Participate in discharge planning and ensure smooth handover of patient care.

Required profile

• Current registration as a Nurse with the Saudi Ministry of Health.
• Experience in critical care or intensive care settings.
• Ability to work independently and act as a positive role model for the nursing team.
• Strong communication skills with patients, families and the healthcare team.
• Commitment to upholding professional and ethical standards.
