Cyber Security Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Cyber Security Specialist to lead our Security Operations Center, shape security policies, and ensure compliance with industry standards. The role is pivotal in protecting customer and company data while supporting our digital transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the SOC, overseeing 24/7 threat monitoring, detection, and response.
• Develop, implement, and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, standards, and controls.
• Configure, tune, and maintain SIEM, EDR, firewall, and cloud security platforms.
• Manage the full incident response lifecycle from detection to post‑incident review.
• Ensure compliance with frameworks such as NCA ECC, ISO 27001, and PCI‑DSS.
• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability management programs, and security audits.
• Monitor threat intelligence feeds and translate emerging threats into defensive actions.
• Deliver security awareness training and promote a security‑focused culture.
• Prepare and present security metrics, dashboards, and reports to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity operations and management.
• Proven experience managing security programs in complex enterprise environments.
• Experience in the travel, hospitality, or service industry is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH or CompTIA Security+ are preferred.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel).
• Proficiency with EDR solutions (e.g., CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender).
• Deep knowledge of firewall architecture, network security, and perimeter defense.
• Experience securing cloud environments (AWS, OCI, GCP) and hybrid infrastructures.
• Incident response, digital forensics, and threat‑hunting techniques.
• Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001 and PCI‑DSS compliance.
