Designated Engineer

About the role

As a Designated Engineer in Nozomi Networks’ Professional Services team, you will be the primary technical liaison for enterprise and industrial customers in Saudi Arabia. You will ensure the Nozomi cybersecurity platform runs smoothly, evolves with emerging threats, and delivers measurable value to each client.

Key responsibilities

• Own the customer relationship, providing operational support and platform optimisation.
• Conduct regular health checks, tune sensor configurations, optimise alert generation and manage upgrade roll‑outs.
• Design and implement new features, integrations, dashboards and custom queries to accelerate platform adoption.
• Create and maintain customer‑specific documentation, workflows and use‑case guides; deliver knowledge‑transfer workshops.
• Investigate incidents, open and manage support cases, and drive issues to root‑cause resolution with Technical Support.
• Provide weekly activity summaries and planning updates to customers.
• Collaborate with Customer Success Managers, Product and Engineering teams to influence roadmap priorities and share field feedback.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in technical support, system administration or technical consulting.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (OSI model, TCP/IP, VLANs) and network infrastructure (firewalls, switches).
• Knowledge of general cybersecurity principles, Active Directory, PCAP analysis and security architecture.
• Familiarity with Windows, FreeBSD, Unix/Linux operating systems, virtualization and basic scripting or API usage.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional fluency in written and spoken English.
• Exposure to OT/ICS environments and protocols; experience with Nozomi Networks products or similar platforms is a plus.
