Director, Finance

About the role

As Director of Finance for Faena Wadi Safar, you will be the strategic steward of the project's financial health, overseeing all finance operations from pre‑opening through ongoing operations. You will partner closely with the General Manager, senior directors, and owners to translate financial insight into decisions that support artistic vision, operational precision, and sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the financial strategy aligned with operational and business objectives.
• Lead pre‑opening financial planning, including budgets, CAPEX allocation, and operational forecasting.
• Establish and maintain financial systems, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance and readiness for launch.
• Oversee accurate IFRS‑based financial reporting, tax compliance, and audit requirements in Saudi Arabia.
• Partner with department heads to monitor budgets, cost centers, and performance metrics.
• Drive revenue integrity, expense management, and profitability while upholding ultra‑luxury service standards.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of precision and transparency.

Required profile

• Senior finance leader with experience in luxury hospitality, resorts, or complex mixed‑use developments.
• Proven expertise in pre‑opening financial management, forecasting, budgeting, and CAPEX planning.
• Strong track record of implementing internal controls and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work closely with ownership and senior leadership to define KPIs and success metrics.
