Director of Sales – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Director of Sales will lead the sales strategy for a luxury Ritz‑Carlton property in Jeddah, driving revenue growth and expanding market share across corporate, government, leisure, MICE and travel segments. Reporting to the Director of Sales Distribution & Commercial Strategy, you will oversee a dedicated sales team and ensure the highest standards of luxury hospitality are maintained.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet revenue and profitability targets, identifying new business opportunities across all market segments.
• Lead, coach and motivate the sales team, setting annual and quarterly targets and conducting regular performance reviews.
• Manage key accounts and partnerships with travel agencies, DMCs, event planners and corporate clients, negotiating contracts to maximize revenue.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management, Marketing, Catering and Operations to optimize pricing, inventory and seamless hand‑over of business.
• Prepare monthly sales reports, forecasts and market analyses, ensuring compliance with brand standards and company policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 7‑10 years of progressive sales experience in luxury hotels, with at least 3‑5 years in a senior sales leadership role.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets and growing market share.
