Engineering Manager – Infrastructure, Water & Energy Projects

About the role

The Engineering Manager will lead and coordinate all engineering disciplines for large‑scale infrastructure, water, energy and industrial projects in Riyadh. Reporting to senior leadership, the role ensures technical alignment, quality and compliance across the full project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams from concept through delivery, ensuring integration and consistency of all deliverables.
• Act as the primary technical focal point for clients and stakeholders on all engineering matters.
• Maintain and enforce document control, design change management and interface management processes.
• Define and manage design freeze gates (IFR, IFC) and oversee preparation, review and approval of design reports at key milestones.
• Coordinate design review cycles (IDC/DIC), capture decisions and ensure timely closure of comments.
• Identify deviations early, propose counter‑measures and alert the Project Manager of any contractual impacts.

Required profile

• Proven background delivering infrastructure, water, energy or industrial projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Holder of a UK, European, Australian or North American passport.
• Strong leadership experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Excellent understanding of local regulations, client requirements and company standards.
