Engineering & Operations Manager – Industrial Services

About the role

The Engineering & Operations Manager will report to the General Manager and lead engineering, project execution, and operational delivery for industrial services projects across Saudi Arabia. This senior position oversees both technical and site activities to ensure projects meet schedule, budget, and quality expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee engineering planning, technical reviews, constructability studies, drawings, specifications, codes and standards.
• Lead site operations, maintenance activities and shutdown execution across multiple projects.
• Ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery while monitoring productivity, manpower efficiency, equipment utilization and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with planning, cost control, finance, clients, consultants and vendors.
• Maintain compliance with HSE policies, Saudi Aramco standards, ISO systems, quality objectives and inspection requirements.
• Act as the primary operational interface with clients and key stakeholders.
• Provide technical and operational input to support tender processes.
• Develop and mentor engineering managers, project managers, site managers and supervisors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Industrial Engineering.
• 15‑20 years of engineering and operations experience, including 7‑10 years in a senior management role.
• Strong background in industrial services, oil & gas, maintenance, shutdowns or EPC projects.
• Experience with Saudi Aramco or other major client standards preferred.
• PMP certification and valid SCE membership required.
• Master’s degree, RICS, AACE or equivalent certification is advantageous.
