English Language & Literature Teacher – IB School, Jeddah

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated English Language and Literature Teacher to join our IB World School in Jeddah. The role involves delivering engaging lessons, fostering critical thinking, and preparing students for both IB examinations and real‑world communication.

Key responsibilities

• Teach English Language and Literature to secondary students using the IB curriculum.
• Design and deliver lessons that explore classic and contemporary texts.
• Prepare students for internal assessments and external examinations.
• Organise literary projects, debates, drama productions and other extracurricular activities.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

Required profile

• Degree in English Language/Literature with a PGCE and/or QTS.
• Proven experience teaching English at secondary level; IB DP experience preferred.
• Ability to inspire critical thinking, creativity and cultural awareness.
