Experienced Plumber – Installation & Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a skilled plumber to assemble, install, and repair heating, water, and drainage systems. The successful candidate will work on a variety of commercial and facilities‑maintenance projects, ensuring all work complies with relevant codes and specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble pipe sections, tubing, and fittings using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement and plastic solvent.
• Test pipes and fixtures with water or air, monitor pressure gauges and locate leaks.
• Install, repair and maintain washroom fixtures such as faucets, flush tanks, bidets, urinals and drainage systems.
• Review blueprints, building codes and specifications to determine work details and procedures.
• Prepare cost estimates, negotiate contracts and keep detailed work reports.
• Plan material and equipment needs, sequence pipe installations and work around existing obstructions.
• Perform complex calculations for large or special projects and mark installation positions using measuring tools.

Required profile

• ITI Certificate or Diploma in Plumbing or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on plumbing experience, preferably in retail, commercial or facilities‑maintenance settings.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and using plumbing diagnostic tools.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, safety regulations and material compatibility.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a cross‑functional maintenance team.
