Field Service Engineer – Onsite Technical Support

About the role

Leica Biosystems is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide high‑quality onsite technical support for histopathology and related instruments across Saudi Arabia. You will ensure customers receive prompt, professional service that maximises uptime and satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites for installations, preventative maintenance, repairs, fault analysis and equipment upgrades.
• Provide phone and occasional Helpdesk support to minimise downtime.
• Perform root‑cause analysis on‑site or in the manufacturing unit.
• Maintain accurate service documentation, including Salesforce reports, expense logs and stock records.
• Collaborate with the Field Support Team to meet KPI and revenue targets.
• Occasionally support customers in the EU when required.

Required profile

• Technical background with experience servicing medical or laboratory equipment.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and customer‑focused attitude.
• Willingness to travel frequently within Saudi Arabia.
• Ability to work independently in a remote‑first environment.

Required skills

• Salesforce (for reporting and documentation).
• Hands‑on experience with histopathology instruments.
