Field Service Technician – Cargo Scanning Systems

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Field Service Technician to provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for advanced cargo scanning systems at our Qiddiya City site in Saudi Arabia. You will maintain, troubleshoot and repair complex Cargo X‑Ray equipment while supporting senior Field Service Engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform Level 1 and Level 2 maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of Cargo Vehicle Inspection (CVI) systems, including mechanical, electrical and software components.
• Identify, isolate and resolve technical issues to minimise downtime and ensure optimal system performance.
• Provide clear oral and written reports and escalate complex issues to engineering teams.
• Assist installation teams with system setup, configuration and initial testing.
• Complete required documentation, service reports and input data into internal databases.
• Follow all company, customer and regulatory safety standards while on‑site.

Required profile

• Experience in field service or maintenance/repair of technical products.
• Ability to work independently in harsh and remote environments.
• Team‑oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
• Proficiency with power tools and hand tools.
• Background in an electrical or mechanical discipline; IPAF certification is a plus.
• Willingness to undergo full training if required.
