Finance Business Partner – Financial Planning & Analysis

About the role

The Finance Business Partner – Financial Planning & Analysis supports strategic and operational decisions within Lucid's plant operations. Working closely with heads of Manufacturing, Logistics, Quality, Supply Chain and G&A, the role translates financial data into actionable insights that drive vehicle production performance.

Key responsibilities

• Own the headcount plan for assigned plant departments, track actuals vs. forecast, and maintain the payroll bridge month‑to‑month.
• Partner with HR and department heads to align hiring plans with budget and operational milestones.
• Provide monthly payroll variance analysis with clear driver narratives for senior finance leadership.
• Act as the embedded finance partner for plant functions, attend operational reviews, and challenge spending decisions.
• Lead monthly OPEX forecasting for assigned departments and support the annual budgeting cycle.
• Prepare variance analysis comparing actuals, forecast, and budget.

Required profile

• Experience in financial planning and analysis within a manufacturing or automotive environment.
• Proven ability to manage headcount cost, payroll variance analysis and OPEX forecasting.
• Strong analytical mindset with the capacity to translate data into clear business insights.
• Effective collaboration with HR, finance managers and operational leaders.
