Finance Director – Strategic Leadership

About the role

The Finance Director will lead the finance function of Visit Red Sea (VRS) within the Shared Services unit of DMC, a Destination Management Company owned by Red Sea Global. Reporting to the Head of Shared Services, the role provides strategic financial direction, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports the long‑term goals of the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial insight to senior leadership and align financial planning with Visit Red Sea’s long‑term strategy.
• Oversee all accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and manage rolling forecasts, variance analyses, and financial models.
• Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, presenting key metrics and recommendations.
• Maintain internal controls, enforce financial policies, and ensure timely month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team across accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting functions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior finance leadership, preferably within a shared‑services or multi‑entity environment.
• Demonstrated ability to act as a trusted financial advisor to senior executives.
• Strong track record of managing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting cycles.
• Experience ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.
