Financial Controller

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑driven Financial Controller to own the integrity of financial data, reporting and control processes for a globally recognised business intelligence organisation operating across 60+ countries. The role is open exclusively to Saudi nationals and will support the Local Finance Director and CFO in delivering accurate financial information for strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close, ensuring all entries are complete, accurate and delivered on schedule.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS/GAAP and corporate reporting standards.
• Manage the general ledger, chart of accounts and period‑end journal entries, including accruals, pre‑payments and inter‑company eliminations.
• Produce management reporting packages (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, variance analysis) for senior finance leadership.
• Supervise AP/AR clerks and other accounting staff, reviewing journal entries, payments, invoices and reconciliations.
• Oversee fixed‑asset, inventory and payroll accounting, coordinating with operations and HR.
• Design, implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with Saudi VAT (GAZT/ZATCA) and Zakat obligations.
• Act as the primary liaison for external auditors, coordinating audit schedules and addressing findings.

Required profile

• Saudi national with strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, consolidation and month‑end close processes.
• Ability to supervise accounting teams and collaborate with global finance functions.
• Knowledge of Saudi regulatory requirements, including VAT and Zakat.
