About the role
The Financial Planning & Reporting Analyst will support the GCC business divisions by driving financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities. You will work closely with senior management to ensure financial data is accurate, actionable, and aligned with strategic objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Support annual strategic planning and budgeting, including assumptions, spreadsheet modeling, consolidation, analysis, and presentation preparation.
- Conduct feasibility and functional activity analysis to ensure alignment with strategic targets and the annual budget.
- Assist in developing operating and financial plans for divisions and departments, and report progress against those plans.
- Analyze operating expenses, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and ensure spending adheres to approved budgets.
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain internal FP&A reports to guarantee data accuracy.
- Prepare monthly forecasts and quarterly business reviews for functional areas and subsidiaries.
- Produce ad‑hoc financial analyses to support senior‑management decision‑making.
- Maintain financial dashboards, monitor trends and ratios, and provide insights on performance versus budget and forecast.
- Develop and validate operational dashboards for divisions and branches.
- Perform working‑capital and departmental spending analysis.
- Support business‑development projects by evaluating feasibility, pricing, and actual performance versus projections.
- Assist the Finance Controller with transaction recording and provide guidance to department heads on financial reports and data controls.
Required profile
- BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- 3‑4 years of experience in financial planning or FP&A.
