General Practitioner – Home Healthcare

About the role

The General Practitioner will deliver high‑quality medical care to patients in their homes across Riyadh and Jeddah, following approved care plans and medical standards. The role involves assessing conditions, diagnosing illnesses, prescribing treatments, monitoring progress, and ensuring continuity of care within a multidisciplinary home‑health team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide medical consultations and assessments in patients’ homes.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Prescribe medications and treatment plans according to medical guidelines.
• Monitor patients’ progress and adjust care plans when necessary.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.
• Coordinate with nursing staff, specialists, and the home care team to ensure integrated care.
• Follow all infection control, patient safety, and regulatory standards including CBAHI.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Medicine (MBBS or equivalent).
• Valid classification and registration from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
• Previous experience in primary care, family medicine, or home healthcare (preferred).
• Strong clinical assessment and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases.
• Professional, compassionate, and patient‑focused attitude.
