Geopolitics Practice Manager

About the role

The Tony Blair Institute for Global Change is seeking a Manager to join its Geopolitics practice. Based in Riyadh, you will support a senior‑level government client for an expected two‑year engagement, delivering research‑driven insights that shape strategic decisions at the highest level.

Key responsibilities

• Lead analytical and research workstreams, ensuring rigorous evidence and structured methodology.
• Produce strategic briefs, deep‑dive research notes, macro‑economic and geopolitical assessments, and rapid‑response analyses for senior decision‑makers.
• Translate complex macro‑economic, technological (including AI) and geopolitical data into clear, decision‑ready recommendations.
• Collaborate closely with a small, high‑performing team and maintain direct communication with the senior client.

Required profile

• Highly analytical and detail‑oriented professional with strong research discipline.
• Experience working on macro‑economic, technology and geopolitical issues, preferably in a government advisory context.
• Ability to produce high‑quality written deliverables for senior officials.
• Excellent structured thinking and communication skills.
