Geopolitics Practice Manager – Riyadh

About the role

The Manager will be a core member of the Tony Blair Institute's Geopolitics practice, supporting a high‑impact government advisory engagement based in Riyadh for an expected two‑year commitment. Working closely with a senior executive‑level client, the role demands rigorous, research‑driven insights that directly inform strategic decision‑making at the highest levels of government.

Key responsibilities

• Lead analytical and research workstreams, ensuring outputs are grounded in rigorous evidence and structured methodologies.
• Produce a wide range of deliverables, including strategic briefs, deep‑dive research notes, macroeconomic and geopolitical assessments, and rapid‑response analyses tailored to senior decision‑makers.
• Translate complex macro‑economic, technological (including AI) and geopolitical analysis into clear, decision‑ready recommendations.
• Collaborate within a small, high‑performing team to maintain intellectual rigor and high attention to detail.

Required profile

• Highly analytical and detail‑oriented professional with strong research discipline.
• Experience working on macro‑economic, technological and geopolitical issues.
• Ability to operate effectively in a small, high‑performing team and engage senior government officials.
• Excellent structured thinking and communication skills.
