Group Chief Human Resource Officer

About the role

The Group Chief Human Resource Officer will join the executive leadership team of a leading main contractor and diversified business group. This strategic position is responsible for shaping the people agenda across a complex, multi‑business environment and building a high‑performing, future‑ready workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Partner closely with the CEO and executive team on strategic people initiatives.
• Develop and execute a group‑wide HR strategy covering talent, culture, workforce planning and organisational effectiveness.
• Lead talent acquisition, succession planning, leadership development and employee engagement programmes.
• Drive organisational design, HR transformation and process optimisation across the group.
• Oversee compensation, rewards and performance frameworks aligned with business goals.
• Champion culture, employee relations and change‑management initiatives.
• Leverage HR technology and analytics to support data‑driven decision making.

Required profile

• 15–20+ years of progressive HR leadership experience in large‑scale organisations.
• Proven background in the construction sector, preferably with main contractors, infrastructure or diversified project‑led businesses.
• Extensive experience in Saudi Arabia with strong knowledge of local labour regulations, market dynamics and cultural environment.
• Track record of leading HR transformation at executive level.
• Strong exposure to talent management, organisational development and strategic workforce planning.
• Bachelor’s degree required; postgraduate qualifications and senior HR certifications are advantageous.
