About the role
The Head of Institutional Excellence Unit will lead the design, implementation and oversight of AlBalad AlAmeen’s institutional excellence framework. Based in Mecca, this full‑time position reports to senior leadership and drives performance management, quality standards and continuous improvement across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures and best practices aligned with national excellence models and international standards.
- Manage excellence‑related projects, coordinate with all departments to monitor KPIs and produce dashboards.
- Facilitate internal audits, assessments and prepare comprehensive reports and recommendations for senior management.
- Lead change‑management initiatives, including training and awareness programs on quality and innovation.
- Promote a culture of accountability, service quality and innovation throughout the organization.
Required profile
- Strong background in institutional excellence, quality management or organizational development.
- Proven experience in strategic planning, policy development and process improvement.
- Advanced analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with experience in KPI design and data reporting.
- Demonstrated leadership and people‑management skills, capable of leading cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is highly advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Engineering, Quality Management or related field; master’s degree or certifications (EFQM, ISO, PMI) preferred.
