About the role
As a Host/Hostess you will be the first point of contact for guests, welcoming them warmly and guiding them through their dining experience in line with IBIS standards.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome and engage guests professionally, managing seating, table allocations and dining flow for both reservations and walk‑ins.
- Handle reservations using the restaurant reservation system, confirm details and communicate updates to the team.
- Answer phone calls, respond to guest inquiries, and assist with bookings.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth service and accommodate special requests.
- Maintain an organized host stand, entrance area and uphold IBIS grooming and appearance standards.
Required profile
- At least 1 year experience in a guest‑facing or hospitality role.
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality education is a plus.
- Excellent communication in English; Arabic is highly desirable.
- Professional, well‑groomed appearance and ability to stay calm during busy periods.
- Flexible availability for weekends, evenings and holidays.
