House Attendant Lead

About the role

The House Attendant Lead ensures that all assigned guest rooms and public areas meet the hotel’s cleanliness standards while supporting the housekeeping team. The role combines hands‑on cleaning duties with supervisory tasks such as training new staff and coordinating with maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Use checklists to verify cleanliness and condition of assigned areas.
• Identify and report preventative maintenance issues in guest rooms and public spaces.
• Request non‑urgent repairs and coordinate urgent repairs with other departments.
• Clean, maintain and store housekeeping equipment and complete required paperwork.
• Document and report outstanding issues.
• Respond promptly to guest, front‑desk and service requests.
• Maintain uniform and personal appearance according to company standards.
• Support the team to achieve common goals and uphold safety policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Less than 1 year of housekeeping experience; no prior supervisory experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lb unassisted and heavier loads with assistance.
• Ability to operate a housekeeping cart on uneven surfaces and use basic computer or POS systems.
• Willingness to follow safety, security and company policies, including certifications.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Provide courteous service to all guests, including those with disabilities.
