Housekeeping Coordinator

About the role

The Housekeeping Coordinator is the central communication and administrative hub for the Housekeeping department at Rosewood AMAALA. In a pre‑opening environment, you will help establish systems, SOPs and operational efficiencies that set the standard for an ultra‑luxury guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily housekeeping operations, including room assignments, task allocation and priority management.
• Maintain real‑time room status updates in alignment with Front Office to ensure smooth guest arrivals and departures.
• Act as liaison between Housekeeping, Front Office, Engineering and other departments to resolve requests promptly.
• Track guest preferences, VIP requirements and maintenance issues to ensure timely delivery.
• Support the Executive Housekeeper in developing SOPs, policies and service standards.
• Assist in setting up room status tracking, inventory control and inter‑departmental communication systems.
• Coordinate mock‑up room preparations, snagging follow‑ups and readiness checks prior to opening.
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding logistics and training scheduling for housekeeping associates.
• Maintain accurate records such as discrepancy reports, lost & found logs and daily productivity reports.
• Monitor inventory levels of linen, amenities and supplies, coordinating with procurement as needed.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Experience in housekeeping operations, preferably in a luxury hotel or pre‑opening setting.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with a focus on detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
